Assign rooms to lessons

If you don't need to track rooms, you can skip this — we'll generate the schedule without room assignments.

If you do want to assign rooms, make sure your buildings and rooms are set up first.

In the Edit lesson page, the Rooms field gives you these options:

1. All rooms: Any room in the assigned building can be used.
2. Default: Uses rooms that match the teacher, subject, or class (based on your Room settings).
3. Ignore: No room assigned. Good for outdoor activities or off-site lessons.
4. Online: Marks the lesson as virtual — no physical room needed.
5. Custom list: Pick specific rooms that this lesson is allowed to use.
