Applying a division to multiple classes

If several classes share the same division structure — for example, all 9th-grade classes split into the same language levels — you can apply the division to all of them at once instead of setting it up one by one.

How to do it

When creating a new division (see Creating a division), check Apply this division to other classes as well before saving.

A Select classes field will appear. Pick all the classes you want to include. The division name and all its subgroups will be copied to every selected class.

Click Save to apply.

After applying

Each selected class gets the same division and subgroups. From there, you assign lessons to each class's subgroups independently.

One thing to note

You can only apply a division to multiple classes when you first create it. If you want to add an existing division to more classes later, you'll need to set it up manually in the Subgroups section of each class.
