Where to find it

Divisions are managed per class. Go to Classes, find the class you want to configure, and click on it to open its details. Scroll down to the Subgroups section and click Add division.

Filling in the division dialog

The Edit division dialog opens with two fields:

Division name
A short identifier for the division — this name is used across the app to reference the division. Keep it concise and descriptive.
Examples: Optional, Beginner Languages, PE, Computer Science

Subgroups
Add at least two subgroups by clicking Add subgroup and entering a name for each (e.g. s1, s2, or English, French). Every division must have a minimum of two subgroups.

Saving

Click Save once the division name and all subgroup names are filled in. The new division will appear as a card in the Subgroups section of the class.

Example

Division name	Subgroups
Beginner Languages	English, French, German

This creates three subgroups under the Beginner Languages division for the selected class.

Tip: If other classes share the same division structure, use the Apply this division to other classes as well option.
