Overview

Once you have defined divisions for a class, you can assign individual lessons to specific subgroups directly through the Class field when adding a lesson.

Using Simple Add

Go to Lessons → Add. In the Class field, select the class. If the class has subgroups defined, the selector will expand to show all available subgroups grouped by division. Pick the specific subgroup this lesson belongs to.

If you select the class without choosing a subgroup, the lesson is assigned to all students in that class.

Assigning lessons to all subgroups

For a division to work correctly in the scheduler, every subgroup must have at least one lesson assigned. If only some subgroups have lessons, you will see a generation error.

Repeat the lesson creation for each subgroup in the division. For example, for Beginner Languages with three subgroups, create three separate lessons — one for English, one for French, one for German.
