Lessons with multiple teachers
When a lesson needs more than one teacher — say, a lead and an assistant — use divisions and subgroups. Assign each teacher to a separate subgroup within the same division, and the scheduler will put them in the same period.
Step 1: Create a division
Go to Classes → [Target Group] → Subgroups → Add division. Create a division (e.g., "Team Teaching") with one subgroup per teacher.
Step 2: Create the lessons
Create a separate lesson for each teacher and assign them to their respective subgroups. To avoid room conflicts, assign a room to just one lesson and set the others to Ignore.
Example: Class 5A Music with a lead and an accompanist.
| Teacher | Class | Subject | Room |
|---|---|---|---|
| John Smith | 5A-Sub1 | Music | Default |
| Andrew Brown | 5A-Sub2 | Music | Ignore |
The result
Both teachers are scheduled at the same time for the same class and subject. Only one room is reserved.
